San Diego According to the latest report of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, some form of carbon capture and storage (CCS), in widescale application, will play a critical role in the vast majority of scenarios for meeting the world's climate change mitigation goals. The International Energy Agency also notes that without CCS, the challenge of realizing climate objectives becomes "infinitely greater." The time is now for the world to refine CCS strategies and work toward implementation on a global scale.

The Carbon Capture, Storage & Utilization International Forum, December 11-12, 2019 in San Diego, closely examines the latest technology advances, research findings, and real-world applications for successfully capturing, storing and utilizing carbon dioxide. Utilization of C02 as a commodity will be explored, as well as transportation to storage sites and depositing in geological environments such as depleted oil and gas fields and deep saline formations.

>> The 2019 Call for Speakers is currently open. Presentation proposals are due by July 12, 2019.
